Ecological Theory
The aim of the specialist group is to link in an integrative manner issues arising from modeling, theoretical ecology, as well as epistemology and philosophy of ecology with ecological object theory and applied ecology. It is important for us to discuss these issue within an manageable, informal setting. For this purpose we especially organise workshops (2-3 days) about specific theory-relevant topics of ecology and its fields of application.
