Basic and Applied Ecology (BAAE)
Basic and Applied Ecology is the official journal of the Ecological Society of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (GfÖ) and was founded in 2000. The GfÖ is an internationally active society that fosters ecological research and knowledge exchange. We welcome contributions from researchers worldwide who are advancing the field of ecology in both theory and practice.

GfÖ Bulletin
The “GfÖ Bulletin” is published twice a year and is sent to all members. The magazine contains reports on current developments in connection with all areas of ecology, e.g. on scientific and application-oriented projects, on (science) policy trends, on study programs, on working group activities, on events and on publications by members.
Proceedings of the GfÖ
The publication Proceedings of the GfÖ offered articles or abstracts of presentations and posters from the annual conferences from 1972 to 2016. A long-standing editor was Jörg Pfadenhauer (1987 - 2000).
