About us
The GfÖ's “Environmental Education” working group can look back on more than 25 years of successful work in which we have promoted the exchange and dissemination of relevant research findings in environmental education and education for sustainable development. However, our symposia at the GfÖ conferences regularly have a scheduling problem, as September is always a busy congress season in our subject area. Nevertheless, we have been able to hold several international symposia with participants from Belgium, the Czech Republic and the USA. In particular, the joint conference with the British BES a few years ago with its December time slot was an ideal setting that should take place more often.
