GfÖ-Prize

(biannual price)

The GfÖ-Prize is awarded every other year, for the first time in 2020. It is designed to honour a young, but experienced ecologist at the post-doc level, who does not yet have a permanent position, for an outstanding contribution to the ecological sciences. The award is given during the annual conference of the GfÖ. The winner of the GfÖ Prize has to present the work for which the prize is provided in person (20 min) during the GfÖ award session at the annual conference. The winner gets a certificate and a prize money of 10.000,- Eur. The winner’s travel expenses, accommodation and conference costs are covered by the prize money.

Suggestions for GfÖ Prize winners are made by GfÖ members to the GfÖ board. Own applications will not be considered.
